Our page is back!

Well we have been down for a bit but not out... Long story short our web host company recently changed hands and www.xenson.com was stuck in the middle. Now that everything is sorted out we can get back to updating our loyal readers.

To start we have a new photo album on the right for everyone to check out. It includes photos since the last post, some Halloween shots, another Disney trip, and sailing with Gee Gee and Pop Pop.
Well in some sad news to report Connor's favorite hang out (Gymboree) closed up shop. As if that wasn't bad enough we found out when we showed up to attend a Halloween party and the doors to the building were locked. How sad! Well it turns out the company that ran franchise in the Tampa Bay area didn't know much about managing money and the kids paid the price. Here is a picture of all the parents standing around wondering what to do with their kids in costumes.

Connor was a pirate for Halloween and he loved going door to door trick-or-treating. He even loved the few haunted houses people had set up for the visitors. This past Saturday we went to Disney and yes this is like the fifth or sixth time in the past three months (with an annual pass why not go as often as possible). This time we got there later in the afternoon so we could see the night show and fireworks, which Connor loved!

Well that's about all from Florida, hope everyone had a good day voting!

The North isn't as bad as I remember it.....

Well it's true, at least for me it's true. The jury is still out for Zoe. This past weekend we went up to beautiful New Jersey for my cousin's wedding and the weather was great. Low seventies and nothing but sun. The whole family made it up there so it was great to see everyone.
After the wedding Rich, Jess, Zoe, and I headed out to Gettysburg. For those who don't know Rich, Jess, and I all went to school at that fine institution. Well that was eight years ago and we haven't been back. Since we don't get to see too much of Rich and Jess we figured we would take a few extra days and visit the old school. Well I'm glad we did. It was great to see the place and spend some time with Rich and Jess.

Well I'm sure no one came here to read the post.... most just want to see new pictures or a video. Well you get your wish.... here is what I got. Pictures on the right and video and a few pictures below. Enjoy!!!

Connor watches himself on Aunt Jess and Uncle Rich's video!

Connor's Second Birthday

Connor celebrated his second Birthday last week! Zoe and I still can't believe that two years have come and gone. Good thing we've been taking plenty of pictures and videos to capture the moments. Though I'm sure some of you wish we took more.

This weekend we had the family over (minus Carrie and Sascha, they had to go to a wedding) to celebrate Connor's big day. Just some hot dogs and hamburgers and a cup cake pull-apart cake.

Connor got tons of gifts and cards and he sends out a BIG thank you to everyone! For the group in England waiting for a personal Connor greeting via video... yea Zoe is on that one so the script is still in works. Connor can't seem to get through without some coaching :-)

Well on to the pictures and video! This weekend is another Disney trip for us. A little family day trip for Connor's Birthday.

This was a jam packed Month...

Well to start things off, Zoe and Connor went to England at the beginning of this month. They both had a great time seeing everyone and shopping where everything is double the price :-) Meanwhile Steve stayed home taking care of all four dogs. What fun that was, I would have rather been in England! Though Zoe and her Mom did bring me home some candy so it was all right in the end. There is a new photo album on the right with Zoe's pictures from the trip. This is the first of three new albums. Hi again to everyone in England :-), I know a few of you check this web page for updates and I'm sure you were wondering when I was going to add the trip. I just wish Zoe took more photos.

Zoe, Connor and I left early Thursday morning for Disney World to meet Doug and Adrienne (you can still see their wedding album!!!). We figured we would take the opportunity to buy an annual pass for the park. Last Christmas my parents took all the grand kids to Disney and Connor had such a good time we just had to keep taking him.

On Friday morning we had breakfast with Mickey, Pluto, Lilo, and Stitch at the Polynesian resort. It was tons of fun! Here is a quick video of Mickey and Connor. I also included a new album so everyone could see the trip.

We came back late Friday night so we could make it to Anja's third birthday party. It was at the Sarasota's Children's Garden. Granted it did rain, and it was humid, but the kids didn't mind, they had fun running around and getting wet in the rain. I took a few photos of the birthday too. Check them all out.

Well July is over and Zoe's off to England.

Now that July is over, we finished uploading all the July photos into the July album. We hope you enjoy! It's been awhile since our last video post so we figured we would add a video this time so everyone can see how Connor is doing. Amazing to say he can count to 10 (with some help at number three, he likes to skip to six) and can hold a conversation. Granted usually the conversation is about cars, dogs, or a plane but talking is talking and he doesn't stop. He even introduces himself to people now, "Hi I'm Connor!" It's just about the cutest thing you ever heard, though most of the kids just look at him funny with no response and parents don't respond correctly (usually just laughing and say how cute). Maybe one day someone will respond back with their name and Connor can have a proper conversation. I often think he takes after my Grandpa Longhi, always willing to go up to someone new and start a conversation.

Lastly, Zoe and Connor are leaving for England today so that means Steve is home alone (with the dogs). Zoe has been instructed to take plenty of photos and has an empty memory card and a full battery, so there should be no excuses.

We hope you enjoy the video!

OK OK OK.... June Photos are up.

Well if you couldn’t tell by the lack of posts we have been rather busy down here in Florida. Here is the laundry list of things we’ve done.

- Connor is speaking in full sentences, and he doesn’t stop for anyone or anything. He talks in the bath, in the car, while eating, and playing. In fact the only time he does stop is when he’s sleeping, and even then we’ve heard him talk in his sleep!

- Zoe’s box garden is in full bloom. OK so you might want to check out the pictures for this one. We are growing our own organic vegetables in an Earth Box in the backyard. So far we are trying out tomatoes, yellow peppers, and green beans. So far the crops haven’t yielded any veggies but they are growing well.

- This past weekend Connor, Zoe, Zoe’s brother Adam and sister Gemma, and I all went to Bush Gardens in Tampa. It was hot, and I’m talking 88 F at 10:00 in the morning hot. Connor had a blast in the kids’ area and the older folks had a good time on some of the roller coasters. Pictures will be added to the June album shortly.

I know there has been more… like Emma’s First Birthday with a visit from Rich and Jess! But you’ll have to check out the pictures to see all the happenings. Here are some teaser photos.

May.... so far

Well another month flies by... So this is what it's like getting old. I'm another year older and Connor is another month older (well I guess all of us are).

Since our last post Zoe and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary. We went out to dinner at the Melting Pot, ate entirely too much and went home (that's a big night for us!). Connor spent his first night at Gee Gee and Pop Pop's house. I hear they were up all night watching Cars on tv and driving cars around the coffee table :-) These pictures were added to the April Calendar, so check them again and you will see the new ones at the end. Might I say they are well worth the look, but maybe I'm biased.

May has been busy so far. The weekend of the 11th we went up North to Dave Elmquist's wedding. Wow, Dave got married you say? That's right, and you can see my pictures in May's album. It was a great wedding, plenty of food, drinks and music. While Zoe and I were living it up in the north Connor stayed back with Grandma and Grandpa, to watch the dogs.

Since we were heading up for the wedding we flew into Boston to check out Rich and Jess' new place and might I say what a place! Too bad I didn't think to take any photos. But the visit to Boston was short, about an hour after we landed it was off to Tom and Michael's place in Connecticut. I didn't forget to take pictures of their place, what a transformation they have done to that place. You can see the before photos on Tom and Michael's page.

Well onto the real reason you all came to the page, to check out pictures of Connor.
