Happy New Year!

The past few months flew by and not a single update. We took plenty of photos but never had a chance to get them loaded to the web and posted online. I think traveling for Thanksgiving put us behind before December even started. But time is still short and I want to make sure I get the new photos up before it's time to wake up for work in the morning.

Fall Fun

Well another month has gone by and we just can't believe it. Liam is now 5 months old, Connor is potty trained and I have already started thinking about Christmas; don't have much of a choice when I walk around the stores and see Christmas decorations already.

Halloween was fun and the kids all looked adorable. Connor was Spiderman and Liam was a chili pepper...sooo cute! We got to see Rich and Jess on Halloween, which was a nice treat, but it was under unfortunate circumstances. We will surely miss Grandma (aka I I mom mom) very much but are glad that she is now with Grandpa.


By the way.... Steve wants to know if the new link he is using for the photo albums is working. So please. if for any reason. you cannot view the album for this month let us know! Otherwise we will assume everyone could view the album and we will use this method going forward. To let us know if you are having problems please just respond to this post. Thanks for helping us make this a better page!

Connor is another year older... has 3 years really gone by?

First off I usually start the post with a photo or two.... Well not this one, mainly because there are no photos to share. As I started to download the pictures to the computer tonight I was wondering why we only had photos of our bed pillows. No it's not what some of you are thinking.... this is a family blog! Connor got hold of the camera and snapped around 25 or so photos of the pillows on our bed. This apparently was after he decided to delete every photo on the camera. This was every photo and video taken in the month of September. So we have no photos to share this month.

You might also be wondering why Connor was taking photos of our bed. Well that's another funny story. I think I mentioned it in a previous post, but to cover the bases here it is again. Connor was playing Mario Kart on the Wii (ok it was a bad idea on our part) and when it was time to get off he thought the tv might like to have the steering wheel. Needless to say he broke the 40' LCD Sony and now most of the tv viewing is being done in our bedroom on the only functioning tv in the house. This is how we got photos of the pillows and none of September.

We were a little upset about the photos at first but at least we were able to experience all the moments of the month in person. Kids sure can be fun!!! Oh, we also have a new rule. Connor can't touch the camera.

Funny how time flies....

It doesn't feel like September but some how we got here. A busy summer is almost over and the kids are back to school, well actually Connor just started his first year of school and technically the summer heat here in FL sticks around till October but who's counting facts here anyway. We know you really only came for an update and some pictures.
Here are the updates....
Steve is actually still exercising, but somehow he manages to eat enough food to keep his belly.
Connor started school in August, going twice a week for about 3 hours. So fine it isn't exactly full blown school but to a two year old (almost 3) it's the closest thing we got.
Liam is still a baby, but getting cuter every day. He loves to smile and can't get enough of his Mommy, sometimes he misses his Daddy too. It's amazing how fast they grow when they are this young. Sorry we have slacked on the posts, we have just been too busy watching our little ones grow up and too busy wondering when we actually grew up (sometimes it's seems like Steve never did).

For Connor's birthday we took an early trip to Disney (there shouldn't be any surprises there, it's practically our second home) and spent 3 days at one of the hotels there. Remind me next summer that Orlando in August is not the greatest 'vacation' destination. Though we did survive and Mommy, Daddy, Connor, and even Liam all had a great time. We were even able to meet some of Connor's old buddies (Alyssa and Samantha) at Magic Kingdom. You'll have to check out the photos.

Of course what post would be complete without a HOLLA! to the folks in England! Sometimes I think this web page is read more in English than American (I hope you know that was a joke, or was it?) The Clayson clan had more visitors from across the pond in July and sadly I'm just putting those photos up now, so be sure to check out the photos from the past months. We even have more family visiting later this month! Wow, you folks need to learn Florida is a much better place in the winter than these hot/humid summer months.

Liam's First Two Weeks

Well Liam is just a few days over two weeks old and so far things are going great! Though Zoe is doing most of the waking up in the middle of the night, so maybe I'm not the best judge of how things are really going. Luckly it seems both kids take after me and can sleep through just about any noise quieter than a bomb going off in our back yard.
I have uploaded some new photos for everyone to check out. Other than that there isn't much to update. We hope you enjoy Liam's face changes in the last series of photos, I think he was getting tired of the camera in his face :-)

Have you heard the news? Liam was born on 6/3!

That's right folks, the day we all knew would come finally got here. Liam Albert Christenson was born at 11:35 am on 6/3. Everything went great and Zoe and Liam are both doing well.

I'll keep this brief and only include my pictures for now. More updates will be added later.

No big brother yet..... but Connor is a cousin

As you might have guessed from the lack of news, Connor is not a big brother yet..... But he does have a new cousin! Congratulations to Gemma and Justin on the birth of Tyler. The post is a little delayed because we wanted to include some photos.



As promised just some news from our neck of the woods:
With May now complete the album is too. As you can see Connor has learned to use the camera, which means lots of pictures of peoples legs and closeups of the faces.
Connor is also enrolled in a soccer class on the weekends, we are still working on the no hands rule but he really loves getting attention from his coach.
As you may or may not have seen in the photos (well maybe there was one photo, I think Connor deleted the rest) I'm running again. I had my first 5k and I have to say it went better than I thought, I finished and didn't pass out at the end!


With the due date now past, Liam (that's the new baby's name by the way) should show up any day now. Once he's decided to join us we'll post some photos for you all to see.
