If you refresh this page (if it didn't refresh itself) there are subscription buttons to the right of this post. Please feel free to subscribe to the RSS feed so you can view it on MyYahoo, Google Personalized, or any other RSS reader.

Enjoy the lack of future updates on this website through the use of the feeder :)

Also, I need to make some changes to the template due to these changes so please try to overlook these problems for now.

Pre-Christmas fun - 2006

I've been gone lately to focus on my school work and I am happoy to report that that grades I have recieved so far have been to my liking. So what does a graduate student do with his time off from school you might ask? Well a fresh post is one thing....

I think I should begin with our first Christmas encounter with friends of ours, Kiki and Ted. The pictures are taken infront of a netivity seen we came across while on our way back from a great dinner in the North End. A good time was had by all that night, esp by the people that were walking by us wondering why we took our pictures infront of that thing. Apparently Ted knows of this website of a guy in Somerville that takes pictures of all the nativity scenes he comes across, I guess this is a sort of tribute...

What happened next? Well, I think Jessica and I went out the next day to pickup a Christmas tree. Maybe this was before dinner? With all that went on in the last two weeks I have having trouble remembering what came first. Anyway, we got a real tree and only after watering the tree with 'tree food' did the Mythbusters Christmas epsoide air where were learned that the best thing for your tree was plain water, NOT fertilizer. I do wish I knew that as our tree is now missing a lot of needles. However, it still looks great considering...

Yeah, Jax didn't seem all that thrilled about moving his bed and putting a tree in its place.

Finally, this last Saturday, Ashley and Rob came from CT to attend the 'Holiday POPs' concert. Being our second year attending we were smart enough this time to sit on the floor where we were able to enjoy the show with a bottle or wine, or two. This year we found out that they do special shows with major guests, this year it was Barenaked Ladies, anyway our plan is to try and get tickets to that show next year. It's become an annual event!

Finally, after the Pops and some dinner we came home to SNL and saw just about the funniest sketch we have seen in a long time. I attached it below for your enjoyment!
More to come, Happy Holiday's and safe travels.
