Catch Up time

So, no, I haven't heard from Northeastern yet, I called them up and it sounds like I won't hear until after April 1st (their application deadline date). This doesn't leave much time to either plan a honeymoon or plan a future in school, oh well!

I'm still working away at Smith and Wesson in Springfield MA so the commute sucks and even though it does I've been driving it. Not sure why but Jessica says that it's because I am crazy. What's even better (insert sarcasm) is I get to work this weekend on their Annual Physical Inventory. Yes, I get to watch people count, yipee. Not only will that now be Saturday but I also hear that this will be a Sunday deal too, how lucky can one guy get?

Ok so this update isn't all about me. I ran across an article during lunch about VH-1 and their Katrina Relief efforts. Well, I nearly did click the article but something in me said to check it out.

Apparently, you could donate $25 for VH-1 to play a video of your choice from the 1960-1990's. You could also donate $35,000 dollars to play any videos you wanted for an hour! Yeah, the logic wasn't working in VH-1 headquarters when they came up with this idea. As is always the case, someone with a lot of money to waste donated $35,000 to the relief effort to play....

We'll your going to have to read the article to find out.

It's over!

You heard it folks, the GMAT is over for me and I can't be more excited. No more studying on a Saturday night until I enter school. I did significantly better this go round than the last. Infact, it was the best I had done even taking practice tests into account.

My application is into Northeastern and I am working on the one for Suffolk. I figured I should apply to more than one school, just in case. Both programs are roughly the same, graduating with a Masters in Accounting and an MBA.

I got a good score for the schools I am applying to and everything on the application on my side looks as good as it can so it's really up to the schools now. Hopefully my work experience will have a factor in there.

Anyway, I can finally help Jessica with the wedding planning, lucky me! Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Invitation Central

Hello all. I am writing from invitation central. I have seen so many invitations this week I am ready to cry. Sunday my cousin Kimberly dropped off our wedding invitations from the calligrapher, so while Rich toiled away on GMAT stuff, I watched the award show and stuffed invitations. I can tell you, that is not a super fun job :). I have also created 2 different invitations and sets of envelopes for Kimberlys upcoming showers as well. Now I am currently working on the informational insert that will go in with our wedding invitations.

At any rate, I am sick of stationary :). That is why we are leaving a very talented designer to make our wedding programs! Also, I am currently without engagement ring this week and next because we had to leave it with the jeweler while he makes my wedding band. It is very sad not to have it on, however I wonder if I will weigh less at weight in on Saturday :)!? Hopefully I will get that back by the end of next week. This weekend our friend Ashley Fitton will be in town and Rich has his big test. Hopefully there will be lots of reason to have a big celebration dinner on Saturday night!

Anyhow, I am off to the gym tonight (YUCK) and then home to clean around the house some. I know, I know, super exciting life I lead. Rich is in Springfield this week which makes for an even more interesting existence. Well that's all for now...
