Wedding Planning

So, as many of you who read this know, my parents came to visit Jessica and I this past weekend. We had a very full schedule planned which included a taste of our wedding dinner and dessert. The dinner was fantastic and I think sealed the deal for the caterer while Jessica is still up in the air about the cake place. The woman there seems for certain that she can make the cake, and the price is good, I think Jessica wants to just double check with another place for taste and price.

We also looked at a few places for the rehearsal dinner and now just need to make a decision.

Jessica took my Mom to see her dress and I showed them both the suit I was planning on buying. Mom loved her dress, so I hear, and they all like the suit. That makes the suit idea a go ahead in my mind. For some reason it seems more classy on me than a tux. Call me crazy.

Anyway, I'm working in Springfield this week and next week when Jessica goes to Tahoe. Lucky duck.

Hope all is well with you guys.

Where is all the snow?!

Hello from Balmy Boston. It is going to be near 50 today and tomorrow! What is going on with our weather up here? We need snow to ski on :)!

Rich's Mom and Dad will be arriving on Friday. We are very excited to share some of the wedding planning with them. We are having our tasting with the caterer for dinner on Friday night. We will bring some wines with us to sample with our food selections. Saturday we have lots to do. We will be looking at 3 different venues for a rehersal dinner, having a cake tasting and looking at the Gamble Mansion (which will be set up for a party on Saturday night, very cool). We are going to dinner at Eastern Standard on Saturday night. It is a great new restaurant in Hotel Commonwealth near Fenway Park. Sunday we will be attending the Church of the Covenant, where the wedding will be held. Sadly the head Minister will be away attending a conference, but atleast they will get to see the facility. After church we are having brunch in Beacon Hill at 75 Chestnut. Sunday afternoon will most likely be spent shopping around and then heading home to relax and have dinner at home. Perhaps we will play our new game Strategery!

Anyway, exciting stuff going on. Rich has been studying for his GMAT which is coming up on Feb. 3rd. We will probably head to the ski slopes next weekend and then I am off to Tahoe. We will post some pictures after the weekend...
