Winter is finally here (Think Snow)!!!

Well the winter is now here and it is officially ski season. Jessica and I have already gotten our first trip planned and are looking forward to the day that we can try out our new skis. We both bought new low light goggles and I am thinking of getting prescription goggles or contacts to help me see the terrain alittle better. Who knows, that means I need to make an appointment to go see the eye doctor and with my work schedule out at Smith and Wesson and soon California, I don't know if I will be able to take the time to do that.

Jessica and I are both going to our respective home away from homes for the holidays. Jessica will be going to her family in Rome New York while I will be heading down to Florida to see mine. On Saturday it sounds like Dad, Steve and I will sail on the Hamingja together before the family gets together (where are we going to have Christmas Eve).

Then mid-week next week, I will fly up to New York to meet Jessica and go skiing with her and her family before celebrating New Years with her at their country club. So, as you can imagine, I am really looking forward to the week ahead, not to mention the time off from work.

PS – yes wedding planning is going along schedule, sort of. Jessica is the best for dealing with the majority of the daily wedding planning while keeping me involved in the final decisions. Hope you all like our joint effort at the wedding invite.
