glad to see activity

The site has been up for a few days now and the activity has been great. Several new posts were made and Carrie added alot of content which is nice to see. With this new activity I have decided on some extra content on the homepage of this site.

I've been looking at code for a calendar and anouncement which will allow us to see upcoming birthdays and significant event's (not that anyone ever forgets them). Additionally, I've also looked into a comment section on the homepage to allow us to splash a welcome message to people or make quick family announcements without having to use our blogger accounts or edit the homepage html.

Things seem to be working well, however, work will pick up for me again and I doubt that I will have the time to get it all done as quickly as I would like.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend, mom and dad, how goes the boat search?

Something I saw today...

So, while I was updating everyone's website and making it so that even a monkey could post comments, I ran across the following picture.

Anyway, thought you all might enjoy it. Let's hope that we can see some new posts before the day is out.

Couple Picture from the trip

After the trip Jessica and I just had, I figured I'll post and give everone an updated picture of us. It's a nice one of us on the Jersey Shore Boardwalk at Point Pleasent during sunset.

Ok, so your not that stupid. I used the following site South Park Studio and spliced the images together. We do look pretty good though don't we?

News on the updates...

Things are moving along. I've worked the page to make the font a bit smaller in areas like the comments, however, I can not change the text size of the blog posts. I was able to condense the lines so there wasn't a huge space between the lines as there was before but that font size is killing me.

I am also posting to see what happens with the comments, I had an error on my first comment but I think it will be better now...we will see after this.

PS - I have Mom and Dad's blog site created. I haven't loaded any content to the web as I am still checking on errors, however, I expect to have that up by the weekend.

Major overhaul

Thats right family, I've been working on a major overhaul of the family website and think I have finally gotten it figured out.

The overhaul allows us all to use blogger.com to update our individual parts of the website. This should be a very easy process as I have already made a 'how to' manual.

Well off to test this bad boy out!
