Birthdays, Beatles and BBQs

June is coming to an end, so I thought I'd post our pictures. We had a big month! Liam was born, Emma turned two, and Mommy turned 33! Even Anja celebrated her birthday - all the kids with summer b-days at school were able to have early celebrations (see pictures). Anja is the youngest, so her party was on the last day of school.

Sascha surprised me with a FANTASTIC trip to Las Vegas. We had wonderful poolside lunches, great entertainment (he took me to see the Beatles' Love Cirque show), and a fun hike through Red Rock Canyon. It was nice to get away from the hectic world of our house! I left the camera home as I figured no one would be interested in a bunch of pictures of Sascha and me...at least we're not :-)

I began my reign as Vice President for the LWR Moms Group. My first order of duty was the Luau (which is essentially a BBQ with leis). Luckily we had beautiful weather (as you can see from the pics).

The Knight family came for a visit, but we used Kristen's camera so you'll have to wait for pictures. It was great to see them and it's fun to watch Evie grow each time we see her. She is the most beautiful baby and if they have another, I may snatch it away :-)

For the next two weeks we will be on "staycation". Sascha will be home and we'll take lots of day trips. Anja will start swim lessons again, so we'll see how they go this year. Hope everyone is having a great summer!
