Happy Thanksgiving!

Hope everyone reading this is having a great day so far. We are currently at Carrie and Sascha's house with Anja. She has grown so much since the last time we were here (you can see her pictures on Carrie and Sascha's page).
To fill you all in on the happenings with Jessica and I, I'll toss in a brief history of this week, later on this weekend I am going to post a 'wedding update' which will basicly detail the plans for the wedding thus far.

To catch up, last weekend Jessic and I went to out friends Kiki and Ted's for the annual 'Lansdale Thanksgiving'. Ted's a pretty mean BBQ'er which means this years turkey was cooked on a webber. From our conversations with Ted, the brickets/chips he used were from the rain forest, well maybe not ;), but it was a real nice hard wood which gave the turkey a fantasic smokey flavor. You can find pictures of the night here.

Anyway, on to the rest of last weekend. Jessica and I have been thinking about snow ever since it started getting cold up here in Boston. Since we can't get it out of our heads and since there was a ski & snowboard show in town, we decided to check it out and see if they had any deals there worth taking. Well, long story short, we both bought a set of skis. Both K2's Jessica bought last years modle of these, 'True Love' while I picked up these, 'Omni 5.5', also last years model. Actually, I really like the colors we got as opposed to the current year colors.

This now leads me to today, Thanksgiving Day. Jessica is playing with Anja, I am writing this, Jax is probably drinking from the pool and Carrie and Sascha are talking about something in the kitchen. As soon as that turkey goes in the oven, we are all going to go outside for a nice neighborhood walk. Hope you all get to eat as much Turkey as it looks like we are going to today!
